Ingredients

Scale

Base

  • 8 mini pizza crusts (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce

Cheese

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese (for ghost shapes)

Toppings

  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 1 small black olive (sliced for eyes)
  • 1 orange bell pepper (cut into pumpkin shapes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
  2. Prepare Crusts: Arrange the mini pizza crusts evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Spread a layer of pizza sauce evenly over each crust, ensuring a tasty base for your toppings.
  3. Make Ghost Pizzas: Using the mozzarella slices, cut out ghost shapes and place one on top of the sauce on a few crusts. Add small olive slices as eyes to create spooky faces.
  4. Create Mummy Pizzas: Tear mozzarella cheese into thin strips and layer them over the sauce in a criss-cross pattern to resemble mummy wrappings. Add olive slices for eyes to complete the look.
  5. Design Jack-o’-Lantern Pizzas: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then carefully arrange the orange bell pepper slices on top to form jack-o’-lantern faces.
  6. Bake Pizzas: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the crusts turn a golden brown.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Remove the mini pizzas from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve warm to your guests for a spooky Halloween treat.

Notes

  • You can substitute mini pizza crusts with English muffins or pita bread for a different texture.
  • Feel free to add other toppings such as mushrooms or olives to customize your mini pizzas.
  • To make the ghost shapes easier to cut, partially freeze the mozzarella slices beforehand.
  • Use a pizza stone if available for an extra crispy crust.
  • These mini pizzas are best served fresh but can be reheated in an oven or toaster oven.
